2Checkout Implements Bill-Me-Later

Friday, September 8th, 2006

2Checkout has integrated the Bill-Me-Later service into their payment system.

Bill-Me-Later is basically a credit card account without the credit card. You apply for a Bill-Me-Later account, and then you can use it to purchase products from 2CO and a lot of other large companies over the internet or phone.

You’re then sent a monthly statement which you then pay.

The question is, will this help increase sales? Obviously only time will tell, but it does have the possibilities of doing so.

Big Changes To ClickBank Website

Friday, September 8th, 2006

Just over a month has passed since ClickBank launched their spiffy new order form. Today their own website has followed.

The most obvious changes are the new logo and blue themed site.

Other changes also include a new marketplace layout. Searches of the new marketplace are now a lot more powerful as you can sort the marketplace by popularity, high/low gravity, dollars earned per sale, percent earned per sale, and referred percent.

A “create hoplink” link is now under each listing, making it very easy for people to create affiliate links for a product. This could weight against companies who would like to keep their affiliate program private, so it would be best for those companies to simply remove their product from the marketplace entirely.

The vendor/affiliate admin area still contains the same content, just in a different font. Naturally it does have the enhanced menus and pretty blue theme.

All in all, ClickBank has done a great job with their new site.
