DLGuard version 4.2 has been released!

This new upgrade, which is free for all DLGuard v4 members contains a lot of new features that have been requested by DLGuard members, as well as a number of fixes.

New Features in DLGuard v4.2:

• When a membership is cancelled, member has access until the end of the current pay period
• DLG detects MySQL database configuration changes, and will direct you to the Config screen to update these in DLGuard
• Zero dollar items can be added to DLG Cart, and will be available to your customers when they purchase a paid product
• Stop users from trying to checkout with just a $0 balance in DLG Cart
• Alertpay now tracks sales process via IP address instead of session variable
• Importing a customer now removes unsupported characters from receipt number automatically
• “Forgot Password” link displays on the membership login page when your member gets their login details wrong
• Checking for banned emails upgraded for better accuracy
• Better ability to delete customers with corrupted data (from an incorrect import)
• An easy to read error message is now displayed if your download URL doesn’t exist
• DLGuard reminds you not to use a space in your filename if you try and do so
• Ability to use a download message instead of a download link for bonus products listed in a table
• Your DLGuard receipt number is now displayed (and changeable) via your Config screen
• Cart purchases can now use the variable %%productname%% on the cart’s download template to list all the products a customer has bought
• Products in DLGuard admin screen can be sorted by product number, name, and processor type, for both ascending and descending listings
• Added a Search box in DLGuard admin screen for you to easily find an item or number of items you’re interested in
• After importing a customer, a link to the customer details is now displayed
• Added ability to set “date of purchase” when importing a single customer (defaults to current day)
• Better security for membership download links
• Various Help and Hint updates to give DLG user’s easier to read and more accurate instructions

Fixes in DLGuard v4.2: 

• Download URL to relative path conversion more accurate when subdomains are used
• Closing <font> tag in customer sign-up form fixed
• Clickbank Membership sales link redirecting correctly
• Updated Clickbank membership return variable to match Clickbank’s system change
• Coupons for Clickbank auto-return now working
• Blank emails being sent when Importing a customer into a membership fixed
• Paypal recurring billing refund now handles date correctly
• Fixed issue in sales statistics display when a customer’s purchase date is empty
• Fixed validation issue for Paypal recurring payments when recurring number is set to 1
